October 7, 2023: Carrollton, GA 30116 In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting River Ridge Knights softball team scored a close 3-0 win over the Central Lions.
Coming up next, the Knights battle the Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA) in a 6A Region 6 outing, on Tuesday, October 10. River Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 18-9 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 17-7 record after their 3-2 league win over Sequoyah (Canton, GA).
The Lions (17-10) will now prepare for their outing against Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA). The Raiders enter the 4A Region 7 outing with a 3-20 record. In their last outing, Southeast Whitfield County was routed by Cedartown (Cedartown, GA), 11-3, in a league outing.
