October 7, 2023: Elk Point, SD 57025 The Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD) volleyball overcame the visiting Pine Ridge Thorpes (Pine Ridge, SD), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Elk Point-Jefferson betters its record to 16-7 on the year. The Huskies travel to Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD) to face the Quarriers in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 7. The Quarriers go into the outing with a record of 14-4. Dell Rapids won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD)
The Thorpes now sport a 14-5 record. They play next when they host Little Wound for a A Region 7 outing on Thursday, October 12. Pine Ridge will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to St. Francis Indian (St. Francis, SD). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-10.
