In Saturday's non-league contest, the Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Huskies battle the Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 7. Helena will attempt to better on its 19-12 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 19-15 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL).
