West Virginia High School Volleyball - Hoover tips Ripley

October 7, 2023: Ripley, WV 25271

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) and the host Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV), saw Hoover's volleyball squad nip Ripley by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Hoover upgrades its record to 19-13 on the year. The Huskies travel to Winfield (Winfield, WV) to play the Generals in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 12-11. Winfield won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV)

The Vikings now own a 19-10 record. They play next when they travel to Huntington for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10. Ripley will play a Highlanders squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Russell (Russell, KY). The Highlanders record now stands at 11-10.
