October 7, 2023: Monroe, OR 97456 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Monroe Dragons (Monroe, OR) and the visiting Oregon Episcopal Aardvarks (Portland, OR), saw Monroe's volleyball squad beat Oregon Episcopal by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Monroe upgrades its record to 9-11 on the year. The Dragons host Gaston (Gaston, OR) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Gaston won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Vernonia (Vernonia, OR)
The Aardvarks now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Catlin Gabel for a 3A Lewis & Clark bout on Tuesday, October 10.
