October 7, 2024: Esmond, RI 02917 Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team tip the host Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI), 12-8 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Johnston improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, RI) to play the Lions in a non-league battle on Monday, October 14. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Lincoln lost 6-0 in their recent non-league battle against Tolman (Pawtucket, RI)
