New York High School Soccer - Roosevelt knocks off Chester
October 7, 2024: Chester, NY 10918 In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Roosevelt Presidents soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Chester Hambletonians.
The Presidents (2-7) will now prepare for their outing against New Paltz (New Paltz, NY). The Huguenots go into the non-league outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, New Paltz got by Red Hook (Red Hook, NY), 3-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Hambletonians confront the Sullivan West Bulldogs (Lake Huntington, NY) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, October 9. Chester will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 2-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY).
