Colorado High School Flag Football - Air Academy defeated by Doherty

October 7, 2025: Colorado Springs, CO 80917

The Doherty Spartans were victorious over the visiting Air Academy Kadets flag football team by a margin of 16-8 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Spartans now sport a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colorado Springs Christian for a 5A/4A Southern Colorado outing on Thursday, October 9. Doherty will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO). The Lions record now stands at 2-7.

With the defeat, Air Academy drops to 7-4 on the campaign. The Kadets host Palmer (Colorado Springs, CO) to face the Terrors in a 5A/4A Southern Colorado game on Wednesday, October 8. The Terrors enter the game with a record of 7-5. Palmer lost 20-0 in their recent league game against The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO)
