Mission Viejo Diablos (Mission Viejo, CA) followers went home pleased Tuesday as they saw their flag football team nip the host Aliso Niguel Wolverines (Aliso Viejo, CA), 19-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Mission Viejo upgrades its record to 13-13 on the year. The Diablos host Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA) to confront the Mustangs in a match on Thursday, October 9. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 13-4. Trabuco Hills won 13-7 in their recent league match against El Toro (Lake Forest, CA)

Coming up next, the Wolverines confront the San Juan Hills Stallions (San Juan Capistrano, CA) in a match, on Thursday, October 9. Aliso Niguel will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Stallions enter the match with a 4-17 record after their 32-14 non-league loss to San Clemente (San Clemente, CA).
