Kansas High School Soccer - Hutchinson toppled by Maize South
October 7, 2025: Wichita, KS 67205 Maize South Mavericks (Wichita, KS) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Hutchinson Salthawks (Hutchinson, KS), 5-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Maize South advances its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Maize (Maize, KS) to clash with the Eagles in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I test on Thursday, October 9. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 7-4. Maize won 9-0 in their recent non-league outing against South (Wichita, KS)
Next up, the Salthawks play the Derby Panthers (Derby, KS) in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I outing, on Thursday, October 9. Hutchinson will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Panthers go into the outing with a 2-10 record after their 2-1 league loss to South (Salina, KS).
