The New Berlin Pretzels volleyball squad (New Berlin, IL), dropped 2-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Athens Warriors (Athens, IL)

With the win, Athens improves its record to 21-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to Riverton (Riverton, IL) to encounter the Hawks in a Sangamo battle on Thursday, October 9. The Hawks go into the battle with a record of 16-10. Riverton lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL)

The Pretzels now own a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Auburn for a Sangamo contest on Thursday, October 9. New Berlin will battle a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 league win over Illini Central (Mason City, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 16-12.
