In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mount Hope Christian Academy Warriors volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the George Washington Patriots.

The Warriors (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Summit Christian Academy (Princeton, WV). The Falcons enter the West Virginia Christian challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Summit Christian Academy was tipped by Ballard Christian (Ballard, WV), 3-0, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 21-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodrow Wilson for a Mountain State test on Tuesday, October 7. George Washington will face a Flying Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Herbert Hoover (Elkview, WV). The Flying Eagles record now stands at 18-9.
