Ohio High School Volleyball - North Central can't hold off Hilltop

October 7, 2025: Pioneer, OH 43554

In Tuesday's league match, the Hilltop Cadets (West Unity, OH) volleyball squad tipped the host North Central Eagles (Pioneer, OH), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Cadets confront the Gorham Fayette Eagles (Fayette, OH) in a Buckeye Border bout, on Thursday, October 9. Hilltop will attempt to better on its 15-6 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 1-19 record after their 3-1 league loss to Stryker (Stryker, OH).

With the loss, North Central drops to 9-10 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Pettisville (Pettisville, OH) to battle the Blackbirds in a Buckeye Border match on Thursday, October 9. The Blackbirds come into the bout with a record of 12-9. Pettisville won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Holgate (Holgate, OH)
