Coaches Game Summary

It was a cold and rainy game on the grass at gateway. both teams worked hard and withstood the elements. The first half was competitive and messy, the wet grass and rain took time to adjust to. The second half both teams controlled the ball better and played much better soccer. Gateways first goal came from a great effort by Klilikie Linga down the sideline with a low far post shot for the goal. Hinkley equalized with a good free kick from outside the box to the near post and rebound off of Alan Garcia. Gateway's second goal came win the 72 min from Ivan Galvan on a great cross into the box forcing a defender to misplay the ball into their own goal.
