The DuPont Tigers (Wilmington, DE) football edged the host McKean Highlanders (Wilmington, DE), 18-12 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Wilmington Friends Quakers (Wilmington, DE) in a 2A District 2 bout, on Friday, October 15. DuPont will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Quakers enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 28-16 non-league win over Glasgow (Newark, DE).
