The Prospectors (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Heppner (Heppner, OR). The Mustangs come into the 2A Special District 5 challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Heppner nipped Riverside (Boardman, OR), 61-0, in a league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Umatilla for a 2A Special District 5 challenge on Thursday, October 14. Stanfield will meet a Vikings team coming off a 20-12 non-league loss to Gaston (Gaston, OR). The Vikings record now stands at 3-2.
