October 8, 2021: Morehead, KY 40351 Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team run past the visiting Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY), 50-28 in a league test.
With the win, Rowan County improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Boyd County (Ashland, KY) to confront the Lions in a 4A District 6 test on Friday, October 22. The Lions go into the test with a record of 3-5.
With the loss, Harrison County moves to 2-6 on the season. The Thorobreds travel to Holmes (Covington, KY) to face the Bulldogs in a 4A District 6 battle on Friday, October 15. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 5-2. Holmes won 24-13 in their recent league battle against Boyd County (Ashland, KY)
