Virginia High School Football - Herndon succumbs to Yorktown
October 8, 2021: Arlington, VA 22207 The Yorktown Patriots thwarted the visiting Herndon Hornets football team by a count of 34-21 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Yorktown upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to Marshall (Falls Church, VA) to encounter the Statesmen in a District 2 outing on Friday, October 15. The Statesmen go into the outing with a record of 3-3. Marshall lost 33-7 in their recent non-league outing against Madison (Vienna, VA)
With the loss, Herndon moves to 0-6 on the season. The Hornets host Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA) to encounter the Generals in a District 2 outing on Saturday, October 16. The Generals go into the outing with a record of 0-5.
