The Liberty Patriots football squad scored 38 points and limited the visiting Mercer Island Islanders to 14 in the Patriots league win on Friday.

The Patriots now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bellevue for a 3A KingCo battle on Friday, October 15. Liberty will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 63-9 league win over Newport - Bellevue (Bellevue, WA). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-0.

Coming up next, the Islanders play the Juanita Ravens (Kirkland, WA) in a 3A KingCo battle, on Friday, October 15. Mercer Island will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Ravens go into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 30-27 non-league loss to Lakes (Lakewood, WA).
