The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Shawnee Braves (Springfield, OH) and the visiting Tecumseh Arrows (New Carlisle, OH), observed Shawnee's football squad thwart Tecumseh by a tally of 27-14.

The Braves now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host London for a Central Buckeye - Kenton Trail contest on Friday, October 15. Shawnee will play a Red Raiders squad coming off a 53-7 league win over Kenton Ridge (Springfield, OH). The Red Raiders record now stands at 6-2.

Coming up next, the Arrows play the Jonathan Alder Pioneers (Plain City, OH) in a Central Buckeye - Kenton Trail contest, on Friday, October 15.
