In Saturday's non-league match, the host Conemaugh Township Indians football squad scored a good 35-6 victory over the Northwest Area Rangers.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers (Berlin, PA) in a Western Pennsylvania [WPAC] bout, on Friday, October 14. Conemaugh Township will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Mountaineers enter the bout with a 7-0 record after their 54-0 league win over North Star (Boswell, PA).

The Rangers (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against Troy (Troy, PA). The Trojans enter the non-league bout with a 7-0 record. In their last bout, Troy thwarted Towanda (Towanda, PA), 49-0, in a league bout.
