The Lackawanna Steelers (Lackawanna, NY) football routed the visiting Kennedy Bears (Cheektowaga, NY), 42-0 in Saturday's league bout.

In their next game, the Steelers face the Newfane Panthers (Newfane, NY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 15. Lackawanna will attempt to advance on its 6-0 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 1-5 record after their 20-14 league loss to Cleveland Hill (Cheektowaga, NY).
