In Saturday's non-league contest, the Central Valley Cougars (Greeley, NE) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Milford Eagles (Milford, NE), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets (Grand Island, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 11. Central Valley will attempt to better on its 12-11 season record. The Red Hornets go into the contest with a 4-17 record after their 2-0 league loss to Palmer (Palmer, NE).
