Illinois High School Volleyball - East Peoria tips Elgin
October 8, 2022: Elgin, IL 60120 East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Raiders clash with the Washington Panthers (Washington, IL) in a Mid-Illini match, on Wednesday, October 12. East Peoria will attempt to advance on its 10-20 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 13-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Champaign Central (Champaign, IL).
With the loss, Elgin drops to 3-17 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Larkin (Elgin, IL) to clash with the Royals in a Upstate Eight match on Tuesday, October 11. The Royals come into the match with a record of 0-21. Larkin lost 2-0 in their recent league match against Bartlett (Bartlett, IL)
