The New Athens Yellow Jackets volleyball team (New Athens, IL), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Farina South Central Cougars (Farina, IL)

The Cougars (22-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 6-17 record.

Next, the Yellow Jackets meet the Lebanon Greyhounds (Lebanon, IL) in a Cahokia (Kaskaskia Division) challenge, on Tuesday, October 11. New Athens will attempt to move on its 4-19 season record. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a 7-18 record after their 2-0 league win over Dupo (Dupo, IL).
