Minnesota High School Volleyball - Murray County Central can't hold off Springfield

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Springfield Tigers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Murray County Central Rebels.

The Tigers (6-17) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain Lake/Mountain Lake Christian (Mountain Lake, MN). The Wolverines come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Mountain Lake/Mountain Lake Christian was edged by Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Rebels clash with the Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers (Westbrook, MN) in a Red Rock battle, on Tuesday, October 11. Murray County Central will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Chargers come into the battle with a 12-8 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Renville County West (Renville, MN).
