October 8, 2022: Maywood, IL 60153 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Oregon Hawks (Oregon, IL) volleyball squad were winner over the host Proviso East Pirates (Maywood, IL), by a margin of 2-0.
Next up, the Hawks battle the Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 8. Oregon will attempt to better on its 15-5 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the contest with a 11-9 record after their 2-1 league win over Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL).
With the loss, Proviso East moves to 1-12 on the year. The Pirates host Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL) to battle the Warriors in a West Suburban- Gold contest on Tuesday, October 11.
