Illinois High School Volleyball - West Aurora tips Rolling Meadows
October 8, 2022: Rolling Meadows, IL 60008 West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Blackhawks clash with the Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) in a Southwest Prairie match, on Tuesday, October 11. West Aurora will attempt to advance on its 7-16 season record. The Steelmen come into the match with a 2-16 record after their 2-0 league loss to Joliet West (Joliet, IL).
With the loss, Rolling Meadows drops to 16-14 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL) to meet the Huskies in a Mid-Suburban game on Tuesday, October 11. The Huskies enter the game with a record of 16-6. Hersey won 2-1 in their recent league game against Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL)
