October 8, 2024: Johnston, RI 02919 Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI), 2-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Johnston moves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Toll Gate (Warwick, RI) to meet the Titans in a Division 3 test on Thursday, October 10. The Titans come into the test with a record of 3-9. Toll Gate lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Davies Career & Tech (Lincoln, RI)
The Crusaders now sport a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ponaganset for a Division 3 test on Thursday, October 10. Prout will meet a Chieftains team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Middletown (Middletown, RI). The Chieftains record now stands at 6-6.
