October 8, 2024: Onalaska, TX 77360 Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls (Anderson, TX) and the host Onalaska Wildcats (Onalaska, TX), observed Anderson-Shiro's volleyball team top Onalaska by a count of 3-0.
The Fighting Owls (24-9) will now prepare for their contest against Coldspring-Oakhurst (Coldspring, TX). The Trojans enter the 3A Region III District 23 contest with a 21-9 record. In their last contest, Coldspring-Oakhurst notched a victory over Trinity (Trinity, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Wildcats meet the New Waverly Bulldogs (New Waverly, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 contest, on Friday, October 11. Onalaska will attempt to move on its 10-22 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 5-16 record after their 3-0 league win over Crockett (Crockett, TX).
