Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hoover advances its record to 26-5 on the season. The Huskies host Capital (Charleston, WV) to face the Cougars in a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 15-15. Capital lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Cabell Midland (Ona, WV)

The Tomcats now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayne for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 8. Blazer will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV). The Pioneers record now stands at 12-9.
