In Tuesday's league match, the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the host First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC), by a final score of 3-0.

Next up, the Aces confront the Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A match, on Thursday, October 10. Holmes will attempt to advance on its 17-3 season record. The Bruins enter the match with a 15-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Perquimans (Hertford, NC).
