The Whitney Wildcats volleyball squad (Whitney, TX), was defeated 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Troy Trojans (Troy, TX)

With the win, Troy improves its record to 18-15 on the season. The Trojans travel to McGregor (McGregor, TX) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 3A Region III District 17 battle on Friday, October 11. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 14-11. McGregor lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Clifton (Clifton, TX)
