October 8, 2025: Richmond, VA 23234 Meadowbrook Monarchs (Richmond, VA) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA), 31-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Meadowbrook improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Monarchs host Petersburg (Petersburg, VA) to play the Crimson Wave in a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 15. The Crimson Wave go into the battle with a record of 6-0. Petersburg won 30-12 in their recent non-league battle against Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA)
The Royals now hold a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Hopewell for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 15. Prince George will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 47-0 non-league win over Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-2.
