October 8, 2025: Hyattsville, MD 20782 Northwestern Wildcats (Hyattsville, MD) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Bladensburg Mustangs (Bladensburg, MD), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Northwestern improves its record to 3-4 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Laurel (Laurel, MD) to encounter the Spartans in a Prince George's County 4A test on Monday, October 13. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 3-6. Laurel won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Suitland (Forestville, MD)
Next, the Mustangs meet the Flowers Jaguars (Springdale, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A challenge, on Monday, October 13. Bladensburg will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Jaguars go into the test with a 5-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over High Point (Beltsville, MD).
