The Frontier Cougars edged the visiting Trinity Christian Warriors volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Cougars face the Valley Lumberjacks (Pine Grove, WV) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, October 8. Frontier will attempt to advance on its 8-13 season record. The Lumberjacks go into the game with a 0-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to Madonna (Weirton, WV).

The Warriors (7-11) will now prepare for their game against Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 0-9 record. In their last game, Tygarts Valley was nudged by Pendleton County (Franklin, WV), 3-0, in a league outing.
