October 9, 2021: Temple Hills, MD 20748 The Crossland Cavaliers football team (Temple Hills, MD), was ripped 42-0 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD)
The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD). The Wolverines come into the Prince George's County 2A/1A challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Potomac trounced Friendly (Fort Washington, MD), 2-0, in a league challenge.
The Cavaliers now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairmont Heights for a Prince George's County 2A/1A challenge on Saturday, October 16. Crossland will meet a Hornets team coming off a 80-0 league win over Central (Capitol Heights, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 4-2.
