The Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY) volleyball tipped the host Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Russell upgrades its record to 20-9 on the year. The Red Devils host Blazer (Ashland, KY) to face the Tomcats in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 14. The Tomcats go into the outing with a record of 3-8.

The Indians now own a 15-7 record. They play next when they host Lexington Catholic for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 12.
