October 9, 2023: China Grove, NC 28023 In Monday's non-league contest, the Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC), by a margin of 2-0.
Next up, the Cougars battle the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 10. Carson will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 3-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Thomasville (Thomasville, NC).
With the loss, Elkin moves to 11-9 on the year. The Buckin' elks host Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC) to battle the Granite Bears in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 10. The Granite Bears go into the contest with a record of 0-17. Mount Airy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Surry Central (Dobson, NC)
