October 9, 2023: Independence, KY 41051 Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Gallatin County Wildcats (Warsaw, KY), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pioneers confront the North Oldham Mustangs (Goshen, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 11. Simon Kenton will attempt to move on its 12-9 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY).
The Wildcats now possess a 3-7 record.
