The Hanson Memorial Tigers topped the visiting Abbeville Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Catholic for a Division V District 6 test on Tuesday, October 10. Hanson Memorial will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 11-9.
The Wildcats (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA). The Panthers enter the Division III District 4 test with a 25-8 record. In their last test, Catholic - N.I. gained a win over Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
