The Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC) volleyball were winner over the visiting Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), 3-0 in Monday's non-league outing.

With the win, Cherryville betters its record to 10-11 on the year. The Ironmen host Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC) to face the Gryphons in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, October 10. The Gryphons go into the outing with a record of 6-12. Thomas Jefferson won 3-2 in their recent league outing against Shelby (Shelby, NC)
