Washington High School Volleyball - Cheney over Medical Lake
October 9, 2024: Cheney, WA 99004 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Cheney Blackhawks (Cheney, WA) and the visiting Medical Lake Cardinals (Medical Lake, WA), observed Cheney's volleyball team top Medical Lake by a tally of 3-0.
The Blackhawks (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA). The Bears enter the 3A/4A Greater Spokane contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Central Valley was beaten by Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Cardinals meet the Colville Crimson Hawks (Colville, WA) in a 1A Northeast contest, on Thursday, October 10. Medical Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Crimson Hawks enter the contest with a 4-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Deer Park (Deer Park, WA).
