October 9, 2024: Newark, DE 19711 Christiana Vikings (Newark, DE) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Newark Yellowjackets (Newark, DE), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Christiana improves its record to 5-6 on the season. The Vikings travel to Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE) to face the Green Knights in a Blue Hen - Flight A test on Friday, October 11. The Green Knights go into the test with a record of 5-4. Mount Pleasant lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Wilmington Christian (Hockessin, DE)
The Yellowjackets now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Appoquinimink for a Blue Hen - Flight A test on Monday, October 14. Newark will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to St. Mark's (Wilmington, DE). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-2.
