New Jersey High School Volleyball - River Dell over Leonia
October 9, 2024: Oradell, NJ 07649 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the River Dell Golden Hawks (Oradell, NJ) and the visiting Leonia Lions (Leonia, NJ), observed River Dell's volleyball team top Leonia by a tally of 2-0.
The Golden Hawks (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, NJ). The Blue Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Immaculate Heart Academy was beaten by Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Lions meet the Saddle Brook Falcons (Saddle Brook, NJ) in a North Jersey - Liberty contest, on Thursday, October 10. Leonia will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 7-8 record after their 2-1 league win over Dwight-Englewood (Englewood, NJ).
