Ohio High School Football - East Tech thwarted by John Hay
October 9, 2025: Cleveland, OH 44104 John Hay (Cleveland, OH) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host East Tech Scarabs (Cleveland, OH), 20-0 in a league battle.
With the win, John Hay upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The travel to Glenville (Cleveland, OH) to meet the Tarblooders in a Senate test on Friday, October 17. The Tarblooders come into the test with a record of 4-3. Glenville lost 12-9 in their recent non-league test against Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH)
With the defeat, East Tech drops to 2-4 on the season. The Scarabs host John F. Kennedy (Cleveland, OH) to play the Fighting Eagles in a Senate challenge on Friday, October 17. The Fighting Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 1-7. John F. Kennedy lost 61-0 in their recent league challenge against Rhodes (Cleveland, OH)
