Minnesota High School Football - International Falls nudges Mesabi East

October 9, 2025: Aurora, MN 55705

In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting International Falls Broncos football team scored a tight 9-6 win over the Mesabi East Giants.

In their next game, the Broncos play the Crosby-Ironton Rangers (Crosby, MN) in a Northeast - Blue challenge, on Wednesday, October 15. International Falls will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Rangers go into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 30-6 league loss to Rush City (Rush City, MN).

The Giants (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Moose Lake/Willow River (Moose Lake, MN). The Rebels enter the Northeast - Blue challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Moose Lake/Willow River held off Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin (Coleraine, MN), 37-0, in a league challenge.
