In Thursday's league game, the Loyola Cubs (Los Angeles, CA) football team edged the host Serra Cavaliers (Gardena, CA), by a tally of 13-10.

The Cubs now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Amat for a Mission outing on Friday, October 17. Loyola will clash with a Lancers squad coming off a 36-29 league win over Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 4-3.
