California High School Football - Mira Mesa thwarted by Bonita Vista
October 9, 2025: San Diego, CA 92126 Bonita Vista Barons (Chula Vista, CA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Mira Mesa Marauders (San Diego, CA), 25-0 in a non-league test.
The Barons now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mater Dei Catholic for a non-league test on Thursday, October 16. Bonita Vista will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 26-0 league loss to Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-4.
With the defeat, Mira Mesa drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Marauders host Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA) to face the Patriots in a non-league game on Thursday, October 23. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 3-4.
