Simi Valley Pioneers (Simi Valley, CA) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Camarillo Scorpions (Camarillo, CA), 30-26 in a league battle.

With the win, Simi Valley advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA) to meet the Dons in a non-league match on Thursday, October 16. The Dons come into the match with a record of 3-3.

Coming up next, the Scorpions meet the Pacifica Tritons (Oxnard, CA) in a match, on Thursday, October 16. Camarillo will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Tritons come into the match with a 8-0 record after their 26-6 league win over St. Bonaventure (Ventura, CA).
